The Date of Session I: August 2 – August 15
Application Deadline: July 15, 2021
USTC Future Scientist Exchange Program (FuSEP) is a pack of incoming programs initiated by USTC with the aim to bring excellent young scientists all over the world together to exchange ideas for solutions to present world challenges through science and technology.
To assemble the best minds across the land, FuSEP International Summer Camp, a two-week program, is organized to immerse students in a multi-culture, multi-disciplinary environment to explore how fantasy technologies enlighten our world. We invite undergraduates all over the world to join us for a series of colloquiums on cutting-edge topics in physical sciences, chemistry & materials sciences, biology& life sciences, artificial intelligence technology, and stories of China and Chinese culture.
What You Can Expect
Many of the everyday technological inventions derive from discoveries in physics. This summer, USTC organizes the ‘Future Physicist International Summer Camp’ (FPISC) to show the students how the world is rocked by physics. As USTC is leading the research in various fields, including quantum information, condensed matter, astronomy, and particle physics, students will experience quality teaching and hands-on research in the summer camp. They will also have an exceptional opportunity to immerse themselves in a multicultural environment and gain insights into Chinese culture.
- Waived tuition and registration fee
- Extra Benefit for Outstanding Participants: Win a scholarship for a future trip to USTC for 2-3 weeks ANYTIME before finishing bachelor program
Theme: Physics enlighten the world
The summer camp will consist of a one-week lecture series given by outstanding professors from USTC and a one-week group study and research with lecture speakers on selected topics. Throughout the camp, a variety of Chinese culture electives will be provided. Students may obtain 2 credits after finish the session.
